The Visiting Nurse Association was established in 1934 by volunteer nurses and community leaders as a not-for-profit (501 c) agency to provide home health care to families with no where to turn and no means to pay. Today home health care and VNA have become synonymous to thousands of patients daily in North Central Texas. VNA delivers a full range of home health care—Home Care, Hospice and Meals on Wheels—to elderly, frail, disabled and dying individuals. Every day our nurses, therapists, aides, chaplains and volunteers provide quality, compassionate care and support services that are the hallmark of VNA—the community’s most trusted provider of health care in the home.
