Robert P. Carpenter, President and CEO

Mr. Carpenter joined The VNA of Texas in July 1998 as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Before coming to VNA, Mr. Carpenter served as Director for Fiscal Affairs for the Texas National Research Laboratory Commission Superconducting Super Collider project. Previously he held the position of Controller and Acting CFO for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Mr. Carpenter holds B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Michigan State University. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1975, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in 1998, and a Certified Home Care and Hospice Executive in 2002. Mr. Carpenter was promoted to VNA President and CEO in January 2003.
Nancy Crowe, Chief Operating Officer and
Vice President for Marketing and Therapy Services

Nancy Crowe, MS, PT, joined VNA in 2004 and was named Director of Therapy Services. In 2007, Ms. Crowe was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Therapy Services. Prior to joining VNA, Ms. Crowe was an Independent Rehabilitation Consultant for a major Houston hospital. Other prior positions and responsibilities included Vice President of Operations for a 5-state region for RehabCare Group, where she directed clinical operations for over 200 employees, Regional Director for the Outpatient Division of RehabCare Group, and Director of Physical Therapy at Doctors Hospital of Dallas. Ms. Crowe graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Woman’s University in 1981 with a BS in Physical Therapy, and earned her MS degree in 1989.
Anne Leary, Vice President, Development

Anne Leary joined VNA of Texas in August, 2011 as Vice President, Development. An Oklahoma native, Ms. Leary came to Texas in 1989 from New Jersey where she lived with her family. After working as a community volunteer for four years, Ms. Leary joined the staff of the Volunteer Center of Dallas County as a manager for Youth Leadership Dallas. Subsequently, she has served as Program Director for Literacy Instruction for Texas (LIFT), as Executive Director of the Delta Delta Delta Foundation, and as Vice President for Development for the Center for Nonprofit Management. In 2006, Ms. Leary moved to the Parkland Foundation as a Major Gift Officer and was soon promoted to Vice President of Development and Chief Development Officer. In 2008, she was asked to become Vice President, Principal Gifts and Campaign, assuming responsibility for Parkland’s $150 million capital campaign to build its new hospital. Ms. Leary holds a B.A. in history from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana.
Carlton Holland, Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Holland joined VNA as Controller in September 2002 and was promoted to his present position in April 2003. He came to VNA with twenty years of experience in accounting, including twelve years with health care organizations. Mr. Holland obtained a B.B.A. from Texas A & M University and an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s University. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1987.
Tom Ricciardelli, Vice President, General Counsel

Mr. Ricciardelli has managed legal affairs for VNA of Texas since 1980. He earned his M.B.A. at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration in 1972 and his J.D. from the Boston College Law School in 1979. Mr. Ricciardelli is licensed as an attorney and counselor-at-law in the State of Texas.
Katherine Krause, Vice President, VNA Community Nutrition
and Meals on Wheels

Katherine Krause, vice president VNA community nutrition and Meals on Wheels, joined VNA May 2009. Before coming to VNA, Ms. Krause served as Executive Vice President of Advocacy and Programs at the National Headquarters of the American Heart Association (AHA) which included oversight of the AHA’s Advocacy office in Washington D.C. Previously, she was regional director of Home Medical Support Services directing operations for eight home health agencies in four states. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from New Mexico State University and an M.B.A from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
