The Visiting Nurse Association delivers a full range of high quality and compassionate home health care following discharge from the hospital, for rehabilitation therapies, chronic diseases, and hospice for adults in the final phase of a terminal illness. VNA also provides the Meals on Wheels program in Dallas County. VNA’s mission includes service to elderly, frail, disabled and dying individuals who have no means to pay for health care and hospice.

VNA was established in 1934 by volunteer nurses and community leaders as a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) agency to provide home health care to families with no where to turn and no means to pay. Today home health care and VNA have become synonymous to thousands of patients daily in North Central Texas. Every day our nurses, therapists, aides, chaplains and volunteers provide quality, compassionate care and support services that are the hallmark of VNA—the community’s most trusted provider of health care in the home.
