At VNA we expect our employees to show interest in and the
ability to promote professional self-growth and continuing competence
in their field through regular attendance of continuing education
programs or in-services and review of the current literature.
As a VNA employee we offer a variety of educational opportunities.
All regular full-time or part-time employees, working at least 20
hours per week and who have completed their provisional period (typically
six months), can receive educational assistance/tuition reimbursement.
Additional opportunities include free in-services and continuing
education programs specifically designed for VNA employees. Each
month a Staff Development Calendar is distributed to employees with
the upcoming months schedule of voluntary and mandatory events.
These offerings include CEU’s to help meet or maintain professional
licensure requirements.
