Indicate on memo line if you have a preference for a specific program:

  • Caring Society:
    Friends of VNA who contribute $1,000 or more annually, either through one payment, quarterly, or monthly.

  • Friends:
    Supporters of VNA who contribute $10 to $999 annually.

  • The Ruth Altshuler Meals on Wheels Annual Campaign:
    S    upporters who contribute specifically to assist VNA to provide nutritious meals to the homebound elderly and infirm.

Transfer of Securities

Many donors prefer to transfer stock as the means of giving.  We are deeply grateful for the generous support that enables VNA to provide home health service to people in need of our help.

It is important to remember that the stock must be transferred from your brokerage account to VNA’s broker if you are to reap full tax benefits.  Do not sell the stock and use the money for your gift as you will encounter capital gains taxes.

Your broker or financial advisor can assist in this process.

Instructions for a gift of securities:

  1. Request that your broker transfer a specific dollar equivalent of shares or a number of shares to The Visiting Nurse Association of Texas.
  2. You will need the following information to execute the transfer:
