Following hospitalization for surgery, medical procedures, or emergency care, or a visit to the doctor’s office, your physician may feel that continued skilled nursing or therapy care at home will improve your recovery. VNA has provided home health care services to the North Texas community for over 75 years.

Here is how you can become a VNA patient:

  • Tell your physician, the hospital’s discharge nurse or social worker that VNA is your home care agency of choice. You have the right, by law, to choose your home care provider and VNA will provide you the quality of care that you know you can trust.
  • Your doctor will write an order for VNA Home Care and the doctor’s office or hospital will call VNA at 1-800-225-5862 to begin service.
  • VNA will visit you at your home, apartment or place of residence as requested by your doctor.  The nurse or therapist will review your medical condition and evaluate the best care program tailored just for you.
  • A VNA nurse or therapist will call you to schedule visits according to your physician’s orders and will also call you on the day of each visit to confirm time of arrival.
