I need help with personal care and chores

VNA Primary Home Care

VNA Primary Home Care attendants help disabled clients with personal care, meal preparation, bathing, and other tasks in partnership with the Texas Department of Aging and Disability services. This is a Medicaid administered service and clients must qualify to receive care.

VNA Community-Based Alternatives (CBA)

This service, funded by Title XIX Medicaid, is a cost-effective option in place of care in a nursing home. If a patient is eligible for this service, skilled nursing and therapy care as well as assistance with personal care, meal preparation and light housekeeping can be provided.

For more information call 214-689-2936 or email robertsl@vnatexas.org.

Primary Home Care and Community-Based Alternatives are designed to enable patients to maintain independence in the community while insuring that their health and safety needs are met. These programs are available to qualified Medicaid recipients, and financial eligibility is determined by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
