VNA Meals on Wheels Kids Camp
Join VNA for our 2026 Kids Camp
Are you looking for a meaningful experience for your 8-11 year old this summer? The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) has a great opportunity this summer-VNA KIDS CAMP!
We have created a camp to empower the next generation of volunteers and philanthropists by teaching them:
- The reality of senior hunger in our community
- The importance of good nutrition
- How to combat social isolation
- The gift of volunteerism
Campers will take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Meals on Wheels kitchen, deliver a Meals on Wheels route, and participate in various activities to encourage learning and empathy regarding senior hunger, isolation and the importance of lifelong volunteerism.
Register for Meals on Wheels Kids Camp 2026! Join us June 8–12 at VNA’s Haggerty Kitchen for a week of hands-on fun designed for kids ages 8–11. Campers will explore our commercial kitchen and warehouse through exciting daily activities.
