VNA Home Health Care
Lengthy hospital stays following illness or injury are no longer affordable and patients often recover more slowly in an institutional environment. VNA Home Health Care allows people who have acute or chronic health problems to receive care at home in familiar surroundings with family and friends nearby. Available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, nurses, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, and home health aides work with patients in their homes. During 2008, 2,229 patients received 49,413 home care visits.
