VNA Hospice Services
There comes a time near the end of life when a person needs a special kind of care… a time when traditional treatments no longer offer the hope of a cure… a time when thoughts turn to dying with dignity and peace. VNA Hospice provides that special kind of care.
Established in 1978, VNA Hospice is the oldest and most experienced hospice in Texas meeting the medical, psychological, social, spiritual and practical needs of patients and their families during a terminal illness. Interdisciplinary symptom management and bereavement counseling are provided by nurses, health aides, chaplains and volunteers. Hospice is a Medicare/Medicaid benefit that covers the full cost of standard hospice services and appropriate medical equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, and walkers.
