VNA Hospice Services
There comes a time near the end of life when a person needs a special kind of care… a time when traditional treatments no longer offer the hope of a cure… a time when thoughts turn to dying with dignity and peace. VNA Hospice provides that special kind of care.
Established in 1978, VNA Hospice is the oldest and most experienced hospice in Texas meeting the medical, psychological, social, spiritual and practical needs of patients and their families during a terminal illness. Symptom management, in-home medical equipment and bereavement counseling are provided by trained and sensitive professionals and volunteers. During 2008, 870 patients received 54,403 days of hospice service and 1,701 family members were comforted in 65 bereavement programs.
