VNA Rehabilitation Services

VNA’s physical and occupational, therapists and speech-language pathologists are dedicated to helping patients in their homes regain mobility, speech, and language skills. Our therapists have many years of experience in a variety of settings — hospitals, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and home care. Our goal is to help patients and their families or caregivers return to as full and rich a life as possible.

VNA therapists have the expertise to provide:

  • Physical Therapy: Our physical therapists help regain functional mobility and gross motor skills through therapeutic exercise, balance activities, and ambulation training.
  • Occupational Therapy: Our occupational therapists help patients regain daily living skills using fine motor, cognitive, perceptual, and sensory exercises and tasks.
  • Speech Therapy: Our speech-language pathologists help patients manage swallowing disorders as well as regain their ability to produce and understand speech, and facilitate communication skills.

We offer comprehensive services for individuals with diagnoses such as:

  • Orthopedic: Total joint replacements, fractures, back and neck pain, compression fractures, carpel tunnel syndrome, fall-related injuries.
  • Neurological: Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA) or stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, balance disorders, brain trauma, spinal cord injuries, post polio neuropathy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
  • Other common diagnoses: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), amputations, general de-conditioning, or terminal illness.
