Volunteers were the moving force who started the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) in 1934, serving home care needs of the community. Today, more than 5,500 VNA volunteers - from all walks of life - find deep personal satisfaction in making the lives of others more comfortable by giving of themselves.
Through VNA, there are as many different ways to give time as
there are people in need. No other experience in life gives back
so much caring and sharing for so little effort.
When you volunteer, we think you’ll agree.
VNA’s mission as it relates to volunteers: to provide
them with meaningful opportunities to make a difference and to
recognize
the special contributions they bring to the organization and the
community.
