April is National Volunteer Month dedicated to celebrating YOU—our committed volunteers and promoting and encouraging volunteerism.

In celebration of National Volunteer Appreciation Month, the VNA Meals on Wheels team would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for all that you do. Your compassionate hearts, support, kindness, and companionship help us serve thousands of Dallas County homebound seniors. We could not do this without the assistance of YOU—our incredible army of Meals on Wheels volunteers!

Thank you all for going above and beyond as you serve the aging community! Your amazing generosity, dedication, selflessness, and willingness to give your time and service is greatly appreciated. Your continued support allows VNA Meals on Wheels to fulfill our mission to help our Dallas County Seniors age independently at home. You all definitely deliver more than just a meal!

Summer is approaching quickly and kids will soon be out of school! If you’re looking for a fun way to keep your kids busy this summer, look no further than VNA! Clients love seeing young ones and it’s a great way to get kids started young with volunteering. Whether it’s a regular weekday delivery, delivering supplementary pet food one Saturday, or getting a group together for a special project—VNA can keep the kids busy this summer! Your support during the summer months is more important than ever. Thank you for all you do for VNA and those we serve. Wishing you a safe, happy and healthy summer!
