Every year VNA hosts a Holiday Gift wrap event at the Haggerty Kitchen where volunteers come together and wrap donated toiletry items for the senior clients we serve. These items are delivered to our clients on Christmas morning along with their hot holiday meal. We are asking our volunteers and corporate/community partners to assist VNA in making this Christmas one to remember by adopting a senior! Please contact Tracie Demery at VNA Meals on Wheels (214) 689-2653 or demeryt@vnatexas.org to make this holiday special for a home bound senior.

Each holiday gift bag should include the following essential items:

• full-size tube of toothpaste
• adult toothbrush
• 15-ounce bottle of shampoo
• bar of soap
• washcloth
• pair of white tube socks

The number of seniors you adopt will be up to you! You will personally wrap each individual item in the comfort of your own home and then place them in a holiday gift bag which will be provided by VNA. After the bags are completed, they can be dropped off at the VNA Meals on Wheels Haggerty Kitchen location (1440 W. Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75247) Monday Friday from 9AM-2PM.

Grab a family member or friend and sign up to deliver meals today to our homebound seniors in your area! Our high-need delivery areas where we have a shortage of volunteers are Grand Prairie, Irving, Mesquite, Richardson, and West Dallas. If you have availability, please consider signing up today for a recurring route or a one-time delivery that meets your needs in the volunteer portal https://volunteer.vnatexas.org/landing.

• Bedliners (All sizes)
