Our high-need delivery areas where we have a shortage of volunteers are DeSoto, Grand Prairie, Irving, Oak Cliff, and Pleasant Grove. August 21st is National Senior Citizens’ Day! Join us in recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments and contributions seniors have made in this world.  Join us in celebrating our homebound seniors in Dallas County by signing up to deliver meals. https://volunteer.vnatexas.org/landing

Our volunteer team is now emailing out a weekly email on Wednesdays with all open routes for the following week.  This is a quick and easy way to sign up to deliver the following week.  In case you don’t see it in your inbox, please check your spam/junk for the email (screen shot of sample email below).

A very special THANK YOU to our dedicated volunteers who continue to help us perform our daily miracle of delivering meals and checking on more than 4,800 homebound senior neighbors in Dallas County during this hot summer Texas heat!

Our summer groups, many of whom are students, have helped us deliver nearly 3,000 meals during the months of May, June, and July!  The volunteers in these groups will be returning to school mid-August.  Have a great school year!!
