Meet Catherine Lee and her daughters, Arrianne and Caelainn. This dynamic mother/daughter team embarked on a heartwarming journey of giving through their involvement as members of the National Charity League. Their passion for animals led them to contribute to the VNA Meals on Wheels Pet Care program and ensuring our clients’ fur babies were well fed by delivering pet food to clients’ homes. Their volunteering spirit also includes assisting a friend and fellow volunteer, Janie Richard, on her delivery route. This experience was especially memorable for the Lee girls who enjoyed meeting the clients and hearing their stories. They eagerly anticipate the summer, as they plan to devote more time to assisting Janie and continuing to make meaningful connections. Their commitment to community service is not just a personal endeavor, but also a cherished family legacy. Their grandmother and great-grandmother, who had previously contributed to Meals on Wheels in Colorado, have passed down a tradition of giving. Through their actions, Catherine and her daughters are keeping this legacy alive while also inspiring a chain of kindness that extends far beyond their immediate community, demonstrating the power of one family’s dedication to making a difference. This act of service has been incredibly fulfilling for them, providing essential support to those in need.
