Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) President and CEO, Katherine Krause, begins each week like hundreds of other VNA Meals on Wheels volunteers by delivering meals to homebound seniors. Katherine, who began her career with VNA twelve years ago, finds her Monday route to be meaningful and says the experience “helps ground me in why we do what we do, and it helps me connect with those we are serving.”
As she guides the organization with her day-to-day responsibilities, Katherine often recalls her Monday morning route as it serves as a tangible reminder of the VNA mission to help people age with dignity and independence at home.
