Texas summers are relentless — and for the homebound seniors we serve through VNA Meals on Wheels, the heat isn’t just uncomfortable. It’s dangerous. Many of our clients live on fixed incomes in homes without air conditioning, or with units they can’t afford to run. A single box fan can be the difference between a safe home and a health emergency.
That’s why we launched our Summer Fan Drive. And there are two easy ways you can help.
1. Purchase a Fan from Our Amazon Wish List
This is the fastest way to give. We’ve pre-selected the fans our clients need most, so all you have to do is add one to your cart and check out. Amazon ships it directly to us, and our team delivers it to a senior who needs it.

2. Make a Donation to the Fan Drive
Prefer to give financially and let us handle the purchasing? A gift to the Summer Fan Drive lets us buy fans in bulk and get them where they’re needed most.
