This past fiscal year, your dedication helped deliver over 1.47 million meals to 7,419 clients, along with 46,602 pounds of pet food to support 477 beloved pets. These numbers are more than stats—they’re a testament to the kindness, time, and energy you give every day. We couldn’t do it without you!

Help brighten the holiday season for a senior in need!
This season, we’re inviting our dedicated volunteers and corporate partners to make a meaningful impact by Adopting a Senior through our annual holiday gift program for VNA Meals on Wheels clients.
Your kindness ensures every senior feels remembered, celebrated, and cared for during the holiday season.
Here are the details:
Where: Drop bags off at the VNA Meals on Wheels Haggerty Kitchen, located at 1440 W. Mockingbird Ln., Dallas, TX 75247.
When: Now through December 5th. Drop-off hours are Monday through Friday, between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
Items to Donate: You choose how many seniors you’d like to adopt! Each holiday gift bag should include the following essential items:
(1) full-size tube of toothpaste
(1) adult toothbrush
(1) 15-ounce bottle of shampoo or lotion
(1) bar of soap
(1) washcloth
(1) Non-slip socks (unisex)
From the comfort of your own home, you’ll personally wrap each thoughtful item and place it in a festive holiday gift bag provided by VNA.

Want to help in another way? We gratefully accept the items that fill our Adopt a Senior gift bags—every donation makes a difference!
When: Now through October 31st. Drop-off hours are Monday through Friday between 9:30AM and 3:30 PM.
Where: Items can be dropped off at the Haggerty Kitchen, located at 1440 W. Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75247
Items to donate: Toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and lotion, bars of soap, washcloths, and non-slip socks. Donated items may be wrapped or unwrapped. If items are wrapped, please ensure they are separated and labeled for easy sorting.

Teen Board Applications Open Soon!

Each year, up to 65 high school students (grades 9-12) from schools across the Dallas area proudly serve on the VNA Meals on Wheels Teen Board. Through hands-on volunteer projects and special events, these dedicated students help fight senior hunger and raise awareness in their communities. Past projects have included assembling holiday gift bags, crafting no-sew blankets, and packing boxes of non-perishable food for our Meals on Wheels clients.

Help Keep Seniors Cool This Summer
With extreme temperatures rising, we urgently need fans for our Meals on Wheels clients. You can help in one of three ways:
- Purchase a fan from our Amazon Wish List and it will ship directly to the VNA Haggerty Kitchen.
- Donate online to support fan purchases.
- Drop off a new fan during “Fan Fridays,” 10:00 AM-2:00 PM every Friday in July and August at the VNA Haggerty Kitchen (1440 W. Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX 75247).
Other High-Need Items We’re also always in need of the following high priority items:
- Dry cat food
- Wet cat & dog food
- Medium, Large, or XL adult incontinence products
- Adopt-A-Senior items: toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and lotion, bars of soap, washcloths, and non-slip socks.
Please consider donating from the list above to help fulfill urgent requests. All items can be purchased through our Amazon Wish List.
