At VNA, we believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect — regardless of who they are or whom they love.
This Pride Month, we proudly celebrate our LGBTQIA+ patients, families, staff, volunteers and community. As a SAGE credentialed organization, we are committed to providing inclusive, culturally competent care that honors the unique experiences and needs of LGBTQ+ older adults.
We don’t just celebrate Pride in June — we live it every day through affirming care, compassionate service, and a deep respect for all identities. Because everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for — fully and authentically.

A Message From Katherine Krause – Summer of Service
|
School’s out and summer is in full swing! If you’re looking for a meaningful way to keep your kids active and engaged, VNA Meals on Wheels has the perfect solution—volunteering!
|
Our clients love seeing young faces at the door, and it’s a great opportunity to teach kids the value of giving back. Just ask 13-year-old Graham, who regularly delivers meals with his grandmother. He says the best part is “seeing the smiles on people’s faces when they get their meals” —and we couldn’t agree more.
Whether it’s a regular weekday delivery, delivering supplementary pet food one Saturday, or getting a group together for a special project—VNA can keep the kids busy this summer!
Your support during the summer months is more important than ever.

P.S. We still have space in our VNA Meals on Wheels Kis Camp! Visit VNATexas.org/kids-camp/ now to sign up your 8-11-year-old kiddos!
