Care Begins with Connection

At the heart of the care we provide are the connections we make with our seriously ill patients and Meals on Wheels clients.

Our hearts and bellies are full!

On April 4th, we hosted our 14th Annual Celebrity Chef event featuring Barbecue Pitmaster, Aaron Franklin. Guests were treated to delicious barbecue, a grilling demonstration, and interactive Q&A with Aaron.  The event raised more than $761,610 in support of VNA Meals on Wheels, Hospice and Supportive Palliative Care.

How we serve our community

How We Serve the Community

VNA fosters healthier communities as our aging population grows. We help North Texans live happier, healthier lives with dignity and respect. We are proud to be a leading nonprofit, supported by the community since 1934. We are the most experienced and trusted health care provider for the aging, and we combat food insecurity among seniors with our Meals on Wheels program.

Your support matters

Your Support Matters

The senior population is expected to double by 2050, putting stress on our already overburdened health care system. As the population grows, so will the number of people who are homebound and hungry. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our donors and volunteers. Your support makes our work possible.

Our time with Neva

Our Time With Neva

As her mother became ill, Barbara made the difficult decision to move her from her home in Louisiana to an assisted living facility in McKinney closer to family. Over time, her mother Neva’s health began to decline. Neva began experiencing frequent falls and going in and out of the hospital. That’s when Barbara called VNA to provide the comfort and care Neva and her family needed.

“They just became an extension of our family.”
– Barbara, daughter of a VNA Hospice patient
